Mitchell Chibwe is the man whose security company bought police helmet at an auction and kept them as his office near MDC's headquarters the Morgan Tsvangirayi house till they were discovered by the police in October 2019.[1]

David Coltart revealed on 14 October that the helmets that had caused a media and social media frenzy were bought at an auction after ZRP directed ABC to auction them. Chibwe intended to use them in his security company.
