Ndafunafuna is a folklore ChiChewa song which has been covered by various artists in Zimbabwe and before it Rhodesia. It's also been covered by artists in neighboring countries like Zambia

In Zimbabwe, the song was most recently re-popularised in the 90s by Prudence Katomeni as lead vocalist of the band Jazz Invitation. The earliest known cover of the song in Zimbabwe was however arranged by Sonny Sondo and recorded by The City Squads becoming a hit in 1963. Later, other musicians such as Molly Banda and Virginia Jangano did their own versions.[1]
