Paul Phiri was a musician and leader of the Black Saints band. The group is popularly known for the song Yera Yera. Phiri and his group were from Mutare, but Phiri's surname suggests he was of Malawian descent.

Phiri passed away some time in the 90s and the group seems to never have been active since.
