  • 4 February 2004: Zimbabwean government gazettes new law that makes TelOne monopoly on international calls traffic. TelOne effectively becomes the only legal gateway to all incoming and outgoing international calls and internet.
  • 4 February 2009: World Health Organisation (WHO) latest data shows the number of cholera cases recorded in Zimbabwe has risen past the 65 000 mark, with more than 3 300 deaths since the outbreak began in late 2008.
