Peter Ndlovu is one of the most talented footballers to have played for the Zimbabwe national team. He started his professional career at Highlanders Football Club before moving to English side Coventry City Football Club where he also became an instant hit and earned the nickname, "Elephant". He became the first player in thirty years to score a hat-trick against Liverpool Football Club at Anfield. He also played for other English teams such as Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Huddersfield Town Football Club and Birmingham City.

He also played for Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club. He scored a lot of goals for the club and even went on to clinch the league title as the-the club manager in 2013.
