Sophia Shorai is a Zimbabwean born musician and song-writer based in Minneapolis in the United Staes of America. She is known for her music which revolves around Jazz ,Pop, Alt-Country and Electro Soul.[1]


Shorai was born in Zimbabwe and raised in the United States of America. It was in Menneapolis where her music career began to take shape.[2]

Music career

Shorai is largely a jazz musician, whose enthusiastic and prominent voice has been featured in commercials, television series and film. Sophia studied music from the age of five, and has been playing on the local scene for virtually her entire life. Shorai has covered numerous bands commercially, including The Beatles, and original music explores themes ranging from inner challenges to social justice.[3]
