Thembelihle Terry-Lynne Zulu is a Zimbabwean activist, publicist and personal blogger. She co-founded Girl Grandeur Zimbabwe and Khura Arts.

She was born in a family of 7 and has 2 brothers and 4 younger sisters.[1]

Education[edit]

She went to Petra High School before enrolling at the National University of Science and Technology where she studied for a BSc Honours Degree in Journalism and Media studies. [2]

While she was studying at the National University of Science and Technology, she ran for Student Representative Council President.

Career[edit]

She was the Public Relations at Khura Arts and Freequa. Khura Arts is a talent agency based in Bulawayo which she founded in November 2012 with her friends Cherish Ntuli, Rozalliny Munemo, Heather Dube, Tash Manzungu, Sdumie C Moyo, Sifiso Mabhena and Sandiswe Bhule. As Khura Arts she partnered with Proudly Zimbabwean Foundation to conduct the ‘Bin-It Bulawayo’ clean-up campaign.

Thembi has been a publicist for artists such as Misred, Oasis 8, Powerhouse, Building Your Origins (BYO), Rebirth Dance Crew, Hurricane Dance Crew, Michael ‘McPotar’ Mupotaringa, T-Wanda and Tammy Jubbs.

She was the Programs Officer at the Miss Earth Zimbabwe pageant in 2014.

She then went on to become the Assistant Editor at Induna Magazine later in 2014.

In 2015, Thembelihle was Assistant Producer for the Talktime slot on ZiFM Stereo producing shows for Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa, Zororo Makamba and Farai Mwakutuya.

She began her career as a copywriter at Plaxedes Wenyika's Corporate24 Branding in 2016. In conjunction with TvYangu Africa, they started a webseries called the Creative Collective: Blogger Series which was a platform to recognise and showcase the content creators in the Zimbabwean blogging industry.

She then joined The Jupiter Drawing Room Harare in 2017 as a copywriter and conceptualiser.

Thembelihle contributed to the Divas Without Limits book amongst 20 other well-renowned writers in Zimbabwe.

She then moved on to become a copywriter at C2 Media in 2018.

She has also worked at the Organisation of Rural Associations for Progress (ORAP) as the Monitoring and Evaluation officer. [1]
