Tinashe "Father" Nengomasha is a former Zimbabwean footballer and sports personality who played for a number of local and foreign clubs including Keizer Chiefs as well as the Zimbabwe National Soccer Team.

Background

Tinashe Nengomasha was born on 2 September 1982. Tinashe is son to Anna Nengomasha. He is married to Samantha Mtukudzi, daughter to legendary musician Oliver Mtukudzi.[1]

Career

Nengomasha entered the football limelight when he starred for the Young Warriors in the under 20 COSAFA finals.[2] He played in the Black Black Aces first team in 2001. Zimbabwe went on to win the tournament. Nengomasha was part of the warriors team that played in the 2004 AFCON finals held in Tunisia. The team was coached by a veteran football legend Sunday Chidzambwa and captained by the heroic Peter Ndlovu. He played as midfielder in a team that included football legends such as Peter Ndlovu, Lazarus Muhoni, Wilfred Mugeyi and Kaitano Tembo.
