Locally, he sites Stunner, Alick Macheso,Oliver Mtukudzi,Shingisai Suluma, Churchboy, Mudiwa Hood and Major Playaz as major influence. Jonso, who produced Confessions said he had a similar voice of stunner
His lyrics are inspired by the gospel, and life experiences. The ghetto scene also inspires him that musically aligns his lyrics to social commentary.
He follows through a four line - same rhyme style where four rhyming words are used to make four lines/bars that make a stanza. His verse may contain three to four stanzas, with different rhymes which translate to twelve to sixteen lines. One line may contain two rhymes but the four line stanza rhyme the same.
