ZOL Restaurant Week

The ZOL Restaurant Week is an eleven day event designed to showcase the diverse culinary experiences withing the country at an outrageously affordable prices. Food lovers are given the chance to sample some of best Zimbabwean restaurants at lower prices. Managed by Eat Out Zimbabwe, the event also promotes the best Chefs in the land through showing their culinary skills to guests. Initially limited to Harare, the Restaurant week was also launched in Bulawayo in 2013.

Establishment

The concept was launched by Joseph and Veronica Bunga in 2010.[1] The couple are the owners of Eat out website. The motive behind was to give food lovers an opportunity to sample some of the Best restaurants in Zimbabwe at a low prices. The event is sponsored by Internet Service Provider Zimbabwe Online. By 2013, only three years after its lauch, the organisers received 4.4 Million Impressions on their Facebook page.[2]

2013

In 2013, the Harare ZOL Restaurant Week raan from the 17th - 25 May. More than 10 restaurants taking part.

2014

The 2014 edition is going to run from the 28th May to the 7th of June. Guests could enjoy 2 or 3 course meals for between US$10 - US$25.[3]
