Job Description
The position of an Administration Assistant has arisen within the National Biotechnology Authority, and we hereby invite applications from suitably qualified individuals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Organize and schedule meetings and events.
- Design and maintain the inventory register.
- Responsible for the stationery requisition system.
- Resolve administrative problems.
- Asset register maintenance.
- Effective management of postal/ courier services.
- Keeping records of payments and service providers.
- Coordinate general organization cleaning.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and files.
- Supervising Administration Staff.
- Assisting in general administrative activities.
- Assisting in ensuring transparent and efficient use of NBA resources (vehicle Fleet management, premise management etc.).
- Any other duties that maybe assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Business Administration or related.
- Proven administration assistant experience at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence.
