The Zimbabwe School of Mines is a mining school in Zimbabwe that provides a higher education qualification in mining by providing competency-based training for high-caliber, hands-on technicians. These positions are (part time) which exist to execute the School's mandate as stipulated in the ZSM Charter, implementing research and innovation strategies as directed by the Head of Business Development and Innovation.
Reporting to: HOD Business Development and Innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gemstone identification.
- Introduction to the Diamond Industry.
- Diamond grading and pricing p Coloured stone grading.
- Marketing gemstones.
- Gemstone mining and processing.
- Geology of gemstones.
- Applied Mathemattcs.
- Communication skills.
- Research Methods.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in the relevant area (Geology/Mining/Metallurgy/ Marketing/Gemology or related course.
- A minimum of three years of industrial work experience.
