The Mayor of <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Bindura/">Bindura</a> Town Council, Jacob Gwature (39 years old) who is a member of the opposition <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Citizens%27_Coalition_for_Change/">Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC)</a>, and his associate Jonathan Kapasi (49 years old) have been arrested on fraud charges involving US$6,970.
According to Assistant Commissioner <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Paul_Nyathi/">Paul Nyathi</a>, the national police spokesperson, the suspects, operating under the company name Pamhodzi Rainbow Network in Zimbabwe, received £5,000 (equivalent to US$6,970) from Kitchen Table Charities Trust in the United Kingdom. The funds were intended for drilling a borehole and installing a solar system at stand number 1305 Budiriro 1, Harare.
However, they failed to fulfil their obligations as per the agreement and did not proceed with the borehole drilling or solar system installation. Misheck Mlambo, representing Kitchen Table Charities Trust, deposited the funds into the suspects’ local bank account.
Following a complaint, the police arrested the suspects, who have since appeared in court. They have been remanded in custody until September 26, 2023, pending a bail application.
The opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) says the charges are fictitious. The party’s spokesperson, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Promise_Mkwananzi/">Promise Mkwananzi</a> who himself is on the run said:

Bindura Mayor Cllr Jacob Gwature appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court this morning &amp; has been remanded in custody to Tuesday 26th of September 2023. Cllr. Gwature, like many of our leaders &amp; officials faces fictitious charges dating as far back as 2021. On Tuesday, the 26th of September 2023, we urge our supporters to fill up the Court in solidarity with the Mayor as well as to demonstrate our dismay &amp; opposition against the abuse of state institutions to undermine the will &amp; choices of the people of Zimbabwe. To restore &amp; retain the people’s trust &amp; confidence , our Courts must refuse to be reduced to ZANU PF’s instruments of persecution. The courts ought &amp; must be seen to be carrying our justice without fear or favour. His Legal Advisor Enerst Jena is of the opinion that this is not a criminal matter &amp; must be before a civil not a criminal Court, and rightly so. We are however are that this has been brought before the criminal Court to persecute &amp; try to tarnish Cllr Gwature’s reputation.

The party expressed concern over the ongoing harassment of its members by the Harare regime, following an election they deemed shambolic and rigged. The CCC said the arrest was unjust. Some, however, questioned why the party fielded candidates with criminal pasts, as their actions may affect their future roles. They said law enforcement has a constitutional duty to address crime and cannot remain inactive.

CCC's Bindura Mayor Has Been Arrested On Fraud Charges

A Bindura-based company specializing in the trade of gold experienced a substantial loss exceeding US$100,000 when a group of eight unidentified male suspects, armed with a total of seven pistols, carried out an attack on the company premises last Friday.
Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the National Spokesperson for the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), confirmed the incident, which occurred in Chiwaridzo Two. He expressed suspicions that the robbery may have involved insiders. Nyathi said:

We are investigating a case of armed robbery in which a mining company in Bindura lost US$104 000 after 8 armed robbers pounced on the premises and vanished with cash. We are told that the armed robbers attacked the security guard and the staff before taking cash and the firearm.
We suspect an inside job because the robbers went straight to the safe and in this we implore employers to screen their employees. As the Police, we want to warn armed robbers that as Police we are not going back,

Armed Robbers Get Away With US$100 000 Cash

The <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Zimbabwe Republic</a> Police (ZRP) has issued a statement regarding the banned <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Citizens Coalition for Change</a> (CCC) rally, which was scheduled to take place on 9 July 2023 at Chipadze Stadium Bindura. According to <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">police national spokesperson</a>, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the police are not to blame for the rally not taking place. In a statement seen by Pindula News, Nyathi said while the rally convenor initially notified the local police regulating authority, she did not provide clarity on whether the local council had given CCC permission to use Chipadze Stadium. The <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">regulating authority</a> had no option but not to sanction the rally due to insecurity at the other proposed venue and a lack of <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">logistics arrangements</a>. Reads the statement:

<h3>THE ZRP STATEMENT ON ALLEGED CITIZEN COALITION FOR CHANGE RALLY IN BINDURA </h3>
The Zimbabwe Republic Police sets the record straight on the alleged Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) rally in Bindura which some politicians and media organizations claim has been banned by the local Police.
The correct information is that the Citizen Coalition for Change convenor, Susan Mawire, initially notified the local Police Regulating Authority on the rally scheduled for 9th July 2023 at Chipadze stadium. The regulating authority,.who is the Officer Commanding Police Bindura District, sought clarity on the venue status from the convenor. She did not give clarity on whether the local council had given them the go ahead to use Chipadze Stadium or not.
The convenor later said that the local Bindura Municipality had turned down their request to use Chipadze Stadium on the pretext that the stadium was undergoing renovations. Coincidentally, the local authority’s mayor and deputy mayor, who are both Citizen Coalition for Change members, offered the convenor their personal private stands in Bindura to hold the rally.
The stands are in a private area which has other beneficiaries who needed to be consulted before the rally is sanctioned. The two stands in Brookdale area which are roughly measuring 3 800 and 3 900 square metres respectively cannot accommodate many people and have no access roads or ablution facilities as the area is yet to be fully developed.
The Officer Commanding Bindura District had no option, but not to sanction the rally based on the insecurity at the venue and lack of proper and clear logistics arrangement by the convenor and her party.
The convenor’s party tried to change venue and utilize a private open space in Mazowe area. The owner of the space did not give them the authority to utilize the open space. The convener then advised the local police on this development. Above all, the police had engaged the Citizen Coalition for Change convenor despite the fact that they had given the police insufficient notice to prepare for security arrangements in terms of the provisions of the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act (MOPA) Chapter 11:23.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police urges political parties and their representatives to be organized and avoid discrediting the police for their own internal failings to follow clear conditions stipulated under MOPA.
Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police reminds political parties that venues are not given or acquired through the police, but by engaging the institutions and individuals who own such facilities.

<a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">On Saturday, CCC national spokesperson, Fadxzayi Mahere declared</a> that the <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/2023/07/08/ccc-ban-on-national-campaign-launch-unlawful/">“ban” on their national campaign mega-launch rally in Bindura is unlawful.</a> She said the party has approached the courts to challenge the ban, but the matter is still pending before the High Court. The CCC claims that <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">ZANU PF</a> has used political violence, <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">unlawful arrests</a>, and intimidation to disrupt or ban over 92 of their meetings or rallies since their formation in January 2022. In a statement seen by Pindula News, Mahere said despite the continued efforts to silence them, the CCC remains committed to mobilising voters for a big win on election day and building a new Zimbabwe that works for everyone. The party asserts that a big win for the CCC is a big win for everyone, and they remain the only credible alternative capable of achieving this vision.

Zimbabwe Police Speak On "Banned" CCC Bindura Rally

The opposition CCC party has approached the High Court to challenge the decision by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) to ban their 2023 elections campaign launch that was scheduled for 09 July in Bindura.
CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere said they had initially approached the Magistrates Court to challenge the move by the Police, but after the lower court set the matter down for 11 July, the opposition party then approached the High Court. Said Mahere:

The Police unconstitutionally “banned” our Campaign Launch set for Sunday. Our lawyers immediately challenged the illegality.
The Magistrates’ Court erroneously set the matter down for 11 July (2 days after the rally) in violation of the Act. We’ve lodged an urgent review to the High Court.

In banning the CCC rally, Police said the venue selected by the opposition party has no access roads and water, exposing supporters to communicable diseases.
ZRP also said they were not given sufficient notice “as provided for in terms of the MOPA Act”, and advised CCC to find another venue and date for the event.
On Wednesday, police disrupted CCC’s Presidential Campaign Rally in Chiredzi, saying the party failed to comply with security requirements prescribed under section 8 of the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act (Chapter 11:23).
Another CCC rally that was scheduled for Chivi Growth Point this Friday was also blocked by the Police who said the venue had already been booked by ZANU PF.

CCC Approaches High Court To Challenge Campaign Launch Ban

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has blocked CCC from launching its 2023 elections campaign in Bindura on Sunday saying the venue selected by the opposition party has no access roads and water, exposing supporters to communicable diseases.
ZRP also said they were not given sufficient notice “as provided for in terms of the MOPA Act”, and advised CCC to find another venue and date for the event.
A letter addressed to CCC by the Officer Commanding Bindura Police District, dated 07 July 2023, reads in part:

This office acknowledges receipt of your notification of a public gathering [Campaign Rally] dated 6th July 2023 to be held at stand number 3889 and 3890 Brockdale, Bindura, on the 9th of July 2023 from 0900 hours to 1700hours which you submitted in terms of section 7 of the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act [Chapter 11:23].
This office has reservations in respect of the suitability of the venue taking into account all relevant security factors necessary.
The venue falls within an undeveloped piece of land, which is bushy without serviceable roads, water and sewer facilities.
It provides a high-risk security threat to the participants. There is also a high risk of threat to the spread of any communicable diseases.
In the event of any public disorder, the police and other emergency services would have challenges accessing the venue due to the unavailability of an official road network.
As a result, our mandate to protect life and property and to maintain law and order will be compromised.
Lastly, your notification did not give sufficient notice to the regulatory authority as provided in terms of the MOPA Act.
May you consider securing another suitable venue and provide sufficient notification as required by the provisions of the MOPA Act.

Police Block CCC's 2023 Elections Campaign Launch In Bindura

The Zimbabwe Meteorological Services Department (MSD) in collaboration with the Department of Civil Protection has issued the <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Zimbabwe Evening Weather Report</a> and Forecast, which is valid from Monday 03 July to Wednesday 05 July 2023.
The MSD reported that on Monday, it was cloudy, windy, and cold in the eastern parts of the country, such as <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Mashonaland East</a>, Manicaland, Harare Metropolitan, western parts of Mashonaland Central, and Masvingo, with drizzle in some areas. This was due to moist <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">easterly winds</a> that are now decreasing. Meanwhile, all other areas had mostly clear skies and cold mornings, but it became milder in the afternoon. Some places, including Gweru, Henderson, Lupane, and Nkayi, had <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">slight ground frost</a> in the morning.
On Tuesday 04 July 2023, very cold morning conditions are expected over the Highveld, with slight ground frost in areas such as Chivhu, Henderson, and Marondera. It should be partly cloudy over Manicaland, Mashonaland East, and <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Harare Metropolitan Province</a>, cool by day, and becoming cold toward evening. Mostly sunny and mild afternoon conditions are expected in other areas, although they will be very cold overnight.
The report warns that very cold morning and evening conditions may affect the health of vulnerable members of society and trigger respiratory-related illnesses in all persons. Poultry, especially day-old chicks, are sensitive to overnight temperature declines. The period immediately following the <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Winter Solstice</a> is usually the coldest, and differences between night and daytime temperatures can affect the body’s perception of the cold.

The Meteorological Services Department (MSD), in conjunction with the Department of Civil Protection, has issued the <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Zimbabwe evening weather report</a> and forecast for Wednesday 21 June 2023, valid until Friday 23 June 2023.
MSD reported that a change in the <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">wind regime</a> overnight resulted in <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">moderate ground frost</a> in Matopos, Lupane, Rusape, and Henderson, and drizzle in Chisumbanje. By evening, the south-easterly winds began to die down.
On Thursday 22 June 2023, very cold morning conditions are anticipated over the Highveld, with moderate ground frost in Matopos, Lupane, Nkayi, Gweru, Henderson, Rusape, Marondera, Nyanga, Mukandi, and Mount Darwin. All other areas will be cold at first, becoming warm by afternoon with clear skies and a cooling breeze towards evening.
The weather outlook for Friday 23 June 2023 predicts cloudy, windy, and cold conditions in certain provinces, including Masvingo, Matabeleland South, and southern areas of the Midlands. Measures should be taken to mitigate the effects of the cold, including monitoring temperature within fowl-runs and adjusting accordingly, keeping warm, and dressing appropriately for vulnerable members of the community, such as children, the elderly, and those with respiratory-related illnesses.

The forecast for 17 June 2023 predicts very cold morning conditions with a <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">moderate ground frost</a> in frost-prone areas such as Matopos, Gweru, Henderson, Nkayi, and Lupane.
Vulnerable members of society may be affected by the cold, and dry conditions increase the risk of veld fires. Poultry, especially day-old chicks, are sensitive to overnight temperature declines.

The weather was mostly sunny throughout the country with light winds. The lowest recorded ground minimum temperature was <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">4 degrees Celsius</a> at Nyanga, and there was no ground frost recorded at all stations countrywide. Daytime temperatures were warm.
For Monday 05 June 2023, clear skies with light winds are expected during the day, which may increase in strength towards evening. Daytime temperatures should remain warm, and the nights are expected to be cool. There is no ground frost anticipated. However, windy and cool conditions may affect the health of <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">vulnerable individuals</a> and trigger respiratory-related illnesses in all persons. Poultry, especially day-old chicks, are sensitive to overnight declines in temperature. The differences between night and daytime temperatures can affect the body’s perception of cold.

Freddy’s outer-spiral cloud bands (stretching over more than a 750 km radius) resulted in cloudy, windy and mild conditions over the southern and eastern parts of the country (Matabeleland South, Masvingo, south-western parts of Midlands, Harare Metropolitan, Manicaland and all Mashonaland Provinces), with light drizzle in Masvingo, Manicaland and southern parts of Mashonaland East. Other parts of the country had mostly sunny but also became windy towards evening.

Windy conditions are expected over much of the country, strengthening towards evening. It should be mild in Masvingo, Manicaland, Harare Metropolitan and all Mashonaland Provinces, with partly cloudy conditions at first becoming cloudy towards evening with light rain, especially over high ground. Mostly sunny and warm are anticipated in all other areas (Bulawayo Metropolitan, Midlands as well as Matabeleland North and South Provinces), though mild in the morning and windy towards evening.

Zimbabwe Weather - 10-12 MARCH 2023

A security guard at a mining company in <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Bindura">Bindura</a>, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Mashonaland_Central">Mashonaland Central Province</a>, was killed after he accidentally discharged his firearm last week.
Decide Masosote accidentally shot himself in the abdomen and died on his way to the hospital.
Mashonaland Central province police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the case to <a href="https://bulawayo24.com/index-id-news-sc-national-byo-228186.html">Bulawayo24 News</a>. He said:

I can confirm a sudden death case in Bindura where a security guard Decide Masosote accidentally shot himself in the abdomen and his intestines protruded from the stomach.
He was rushed to Bindura hospital and he died along the way.

Masosote accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself while standing close to one Kelvin Muzambi who was welding.

Security Guard Accidentally Shoots Self, Dies

The 8-year-old Bindura girl who got pregnant after being raped by two 17-year-old men has given birth through a Caesarean section.
The two teenagers who are allegedly her brothers from the same farm where she lived <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/police-confirm-arrest-of-suspects-who-raped-9-year-old-girl-who-is-now-pregnant/">have since been arrested.</a>
She gave birth at Bindura Provincial Hospital where a government gynaecologist has been closely monitoring the young victim of child sexual exploitation.
The girl attended Kambira Primary School as a student before leaving when she became pregnant.
Gibson Chigamha, the headmaster, asked that the child be sent to Bindura Hospital because he was not sure that her bloated stomach was the result of an illness.
This was after the school heard about the Tsholotsho case of a nine-year-old minor who gave birth last year.

8-year-old Zimbabwean Girl Gives Birth

A 55-year-old Bindura school headmistress died at Bare Primary School in Chiweshe on Thursday after a huge tree fell on her vehicle as she sought shelter from a violent storm. 
ZBC News reports that another school official, Clever Mutema was seriously injured and ferried to a local hospital. 
Since the beginning of the current rainy season, a number of accidents attributed to weather conditions have been reported.
In October last year, <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/two-injured-after-whirlwind-strikes-classroom-blocks/">two people sustained minor bruises</a> when a whirlwind blew the roofs off two classroom blocks at Gomoza Primary School in Lupane where they were waiting to apply for national identity documents 
One of the classrooms was being used as a temporary registration centre by a team from the Civil Registry Department.
Lupane East legislator Mbongeni Dube (ZANU PF) said the school was appealing for funds and materials from well-wishers to be able to repair the damaged buildings. 
The ZETDC, a subsidiary of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority, the local power utility, claimed in October last year that strong winds had affected some electricity transmission infrastructure hence the prolonged power cuts in the country.
In a public notice, ZESA said it was sorry for the increased power outages and pledged to restore power in affected areas in the shortest period possible.

Tree Falls On A Car Killing School Head Who Was In The Vehicle

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has reported on a suspected case of human trafficking after two minors, a boy and a girl were found wandering in Bindura, Mashonaland Province. A police statement seen by Pindula News says the victims are suspected to be psychiatric patients who are deaf and dumb and their nationality is not yet known. Read the statement:

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing for information which may assist to locate immediate family members or relatives of a boy (approximately 13) and girl (approximately 15), who were found wandering in Bindura Central Business District and are suspected to be victims of human trafficking.
The victims’ origin and nationality is currently unknown. They are suspected to be psychiatric patients who are deaf and dumb.
Investigations conducted by the Police so far have established that the victims were ferried by a truck while in the company of an unknown woman, whose body structure is said to be “heavily built”.

Zimbabwe Police Reports On Suspected Human Trafficking

Another 9-year-old Zimbabwean girl has been admitted to the hospital reportedly six months pregnant.
The girl who is from Kambira Village in Bindura is currently admitted at Bindura District Hospital under the care of the Social Development Department.
The minor was allegedly sexually abused by two 17-year-old boys who have been arrested, <a href="https://www.herald.co.zw/breaking-news-another-9-year-old-girl-raped-pregnant-as-two-17-year-old-boys-are-arrested/">The Herald</a> reported.
Authorities said a statement will be released in due course.
This comes as the nine-year-old girl from Masekesa village in Tsholotsho under Chief Gampu <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/9-year-old-tsholotsho-girl-gives-birth-to-baby-girl/">gave birth on Monday 14 November 2022.</a>
She gave birth to a baby girl via a Caesarean section at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH).
The two cases are just a fraction of unresolved cases of sexual exploitation.

Another 9-year-old Zimbabwean Girl 6 Months Pregnant

Police in Mashonaland Central Province have advised members of the public to avoid walking in the open during thunderstorms after a young mother was killed by a bolt of lightning in Bindura on Sunday afternoon.
19-year-old Vigilance Mushore from Tresspasses Farm in Bindura died after being struck by lightning while visiting a nearby farm during a thunderstorm.
She was in the company of her young sister (14) and daughter (6).
Mushore’s daughter sustained burns on the forehead and a swollen right eye while the sister was unhurt.
Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) spokesperson in Mashonaland Central Province, Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the tragic incident.
He said on Sunday at around 2 pm the trio was passing through Guttingwood Farm when a sudden lightning bolt struck Mushore. She died on the spot.
Sergeant Major Chikasha said Mushore’s daughter was rushed to Bindura Hospital where she was treated and discharged.
Police officers attended the scene and observed that Mushore’s body had burns on the chest and lower back. Added Chikasha:

Young Mother Killed By Lightning Bolt

A 25-year-old Bindura man died on Monday after consuming too much illicit beer called soldier whiskey.
Collen Madzima (45) of Ran Mine compound in Bindura was found dead by a neighbour in his bedroom.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson, Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the case. <a href="https://www.newsday.co.zw/2021/12/soldier-whiskey-kills-bindura-man/">Mundembe told NewsDay Zimbabwe:</a>

I can confirm a case of sudden death in Bindura where Madzima was found dead by his neighbour Marko Banda (54) who became worried after missing the now deceased at his yard.
Banda got into his neighbour’s room and found the lifeless body of Madzima who had spent the whole day without eating while drinking the illicit beer. Police is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of the drug peddlers.

Last week, police arrested five suppliers of illicit beer at the Mukaradzi mining site in Mount Darwin. 
Drug abuse has been on the rise in the country with local <a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2021/09/25/psychiatric-units-overwhelmed-by-drug-abuse-linked-mental-health-cases/">health facilities claiming they </a><a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2021/09/25/psychiatric-units-overwhelmed-by-drug-abuse-linked-mental-health-cases/">are overwhelmed</a> by the rising number of mental health cases linked to drug and substance abuse.
Most patients have complications arising from crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “mutoriro”, “dombo” or “guka.”
Most abused drugs include ganja cakes, a prohibited cough syrup called BronCleer (bronco), mbanje and illicit beers known as “musombodhiya” in street lingo.
President Mnangagwa recently expressed concern over drug abuse in the country, and he <a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2021/09/05/mnangagwa-appoints-task-force-to-deal-with-drug-abuse/">appointed a task force to hunt down drug peddlers.</a>

Man Dies After Consuming Soldier Whiskey

Police have launched a manhunt for two Zaka brothers who are being accused of killing a colleague following an argument during a beer drink.
Innocent Chari (22) and Enock Chari (22) are alleged to have killed the 39-year-old victim and their whereabouts are still unknown.
Investigations revealed that they stoned him to death.
National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident and another that happened in Bindura. He said:

The Police is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Innocent Chari aged 22 and Enock Chari aged 22 who are wanted for a murder case which occurred on August 23, 2021, at Chapeta Village, Zaka. The suspects assaulted the 39-year-old victim with stones after an argument while drinking beer.
In a related case, police in Bindura arrested Yusufu Sumani aged 33 in connection with a murder case which occurred at Maganyani Business Centre on August 20, 2021. The suspect stabbed the victim aged 37 with a broken bottle on the hand after accusing the victim of having an affair with his girlfriend.

He said investigations on the cases were still ongoing and urged the public to desist from solving differences through violent ways.
There has been an increase in murder and hit-and-run cases countrywide and police continue to urge members of the public to respect the sacredness of human life.
This comes after police were already investigating a number of such cases.

Police Launch Manhunt For Murder Suspects

Two people died while two others were injured near Simona farm along the Bindura-Glendale road when two trucks collided head-on on Saturday.
When ZBC News arrived at the accident scene, the bodies of the deceased were still trapped inside the mangled remains while groceries from one of the trucks were strewn along the road.
Witnesses believe the accident was caused by poor visibility as there was a veld fire on both sides of the road. A witness said:

When I passed there earlier, I even mentioned this fire is dangerous and will cause accidents because of poor visibility then the worst happened and these trucks collided.
</blockquote>
Another witness said:

It’s sad I knew this guy he was a businessman and we were in Harare together earlier in the afternoon and we headed our separate ways, then I got here to find this tragedy. It’s really sad.
</blockquote>
Mashonaland Central Acting Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo said police are still conducting investigations.

Two People Die In Bindura-Glendale Road Accident

Nine farmers in Bindura, Mashonaland Central province, have lost over 50 goats to thieves who used a kombi to transport the livestock in a raid that happened in one day.
Police said the unknown suspects used a white kombi to steal the goats from Chipadze Farm. Said the Zimbabwe Republic Police 9ZRP) on its Twitter page:
<blockquote>Police in Bindura are appealing for information which may aid investigations of a stock theft case which occurred on 21/07/21 at Chipadze Farm.
The unknown suspects went to Chipadze Farm with a white omnibus and stole 51 goats belonging to 9 farmers. Anyone with information should contact any nearest Police Station.</blockquote>
