Apparent new evidence posted on Twitter today suggests that Minister Saviour Kasukuwere indeed sold land to the popular preacher, Walter Magaya. This potentially exposes Kasukuwere for having lied to President Robert Mugabe to whom he denied ever selling land to the preacher.

In early September, Mugabe confronted Kasukuwere, accusing him of having sold land procedurally to Magaya. Kasukuwere denied this had ever happened saying:
Aiwa shefu it’s all lies. Ndini minister weikoko, hakuna zvakadaro vanga vashaya chokunyora (No boss, they are lying. There is nothing like that. I am the minister responsible for that)
