The deputy minister in the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Dr Godfrey Gandawa was arrested yesterday, a day after his principal, Professor Jonathan Moyo, had been arrested over allegations of misuse of funds. The deputy minister was grilled for more than five hours by the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission (ZACC), before being released into the custody of his lawyer, Mr Bernard Chidziva. He is expected to appear in court soon.
