The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange is the fastest growing in Southern Africa for the current quarter. This follows the introduction of bond notes as investors seek for other means of preserving value.
The Mining Index, in particular has more than doubled since the beginning of the year. The spectacular rise has been built on the back of Bindura and RioZim. Year-to-date, the mining index rose by 142.66 percent to 57.51 points, its highest level since January last year. On a quarterly basis, the index is up 116.12 percent.
