All 18 clubs that make up the Premier Soccer League (PSL) are expected to register their 2017 squads today,
PSL communications manager, Kudzai Bare said that the registration deadline is for administrative purposes for clubs to get players’ licences on time. She added that clubs will be allowed to alter their squads until the end of the transfer window at the end of March. She also dismissed fears that registration deadline will interfere with the new FIFA system of player registration that Zifa adopted with immediate effect.
The new system will see Zifa provincial and regional officers and some club administrators going for a workshop in Harare at a date announced.
