On Sunday, self-proclaimed Prophet Paul Sanyangore washed his congregants with Jik, a household detergent telling them that he was cleansing them of sin. The prophet equates the power of Jik to the power of the blood of Jesus. The Pastor said:
I just hope people will not misinterpret the message being sent here. The message behind is accepting Jesus in your life as it is written in the Bible and your life will be cleaned from everything, sin, diseases or any situation. This is what I expressed with the use of Jik. This Jik is multi-purpose, you can use it to clean your water, wash clothes, as a toilet cleaner and in many other situations, just like the power of Jesus.
Sanyangore is no stranger to controversy. Last year he made his congregants drink water contaminated with sewage after he claimed to have anointed it.
