The Zanu PF PoPolitburo resolved to relieve Eunice Sandi-Moyo and Sarah Mahoka of their duties in the party’s Women’s League. The two had been accused of undermining the authority of the First Lady Grace Mugabe. Last week, members of the Women’s League and the Youth League held demonstrations against the two accusing them of insubordination and misappropriation of funds.
Sandi-Moyo was the Deputy Secretary of the league while Mahoka was the Secretary for Finance. Sandi Moyo is also the Minister of State for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province. Zanu PF spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo said Sandi-Moyo and Mahoka had resigned.
