PSL confirms that Dynamos V Caps Utd match has been postponed due to lack of venue

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the Harare derby between Dynamos and reigning champions Caps Utd has been postponed due to the lack of a suitable venue. The match was scheduled for Sunday, and a new date will be advised in future.

The National sports Stadium has been closed to make way for a service by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome on Sunday. Rufaro Stadium was deemed not ready by inspectors as it is still being refurbished an will need another two weeks. Gwanzura Stadium is also undergoing refurbishment. While Morris Depot has been deemed too small.

In a statement the Premier Soccer League said:

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League fixture between Dynamos FC and Caps United FC scheduled for Sunday 7 May 2017 has been postponed due to the unavailability of a venue to host the match. The National Sports Stadium has been booked for a church event while the City of Harare is still to complete works on Rufaro Stadium.
