Media personality Tich Mataz, real name Tichafa Augustine Matambanadzo has expressed his shock at learning that he is now a prophet via newspapers. Mataz blamed the media for exaggerating issues and advised people not to believe all they read. He added that he was being used by Prophet Paul Sanyangore to demonstrate that God was able to communicate through cell phones. Sanyangore is the leader of Victory World International Ministries Church
Speaking during a ZiFM Stereo programme, The Rush, Matambanadzo said:
God is amazing. Everything in life begins and ends with God. We cannot joke about God
I attended a church service like any other person and the man of God wanted to illustrate something and he chose me. He was using me as an example.
I would like people to stop believing anything they read in the newspapers and follow the hype. I would have expected the scribe to call me and ask me whether I am a prophet or not. I was shocked to see that in the newspaper,
