Former Highlanders vice-chairman Mgcini Mpofu has criticised ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa for being biased towards Dynamos following the Barbourfields Stadium chaos. Mpofu also said that Chiyangwa is a Dynamos supporter.
Said Mpofu:
Zimbabwe football is embarrassing, you get people who are supposed to be the national football administrators making it known that they support Dynamos…the ZIFA president even walked out of Rufaro stadium in 2016 as soon as Bosso scored the second goal against DeMbare…this season they seem to have agreed to frustrate us using their supporters masquerading as referees.
Mpofu further insinuated that Chiyangwa was a dictator who suspends anyone who challenges him.
