I will pay you whatever you want to perform at the Carnival: Kaseke tries to lure Jah Prayzah
Musician Jah Prayzah is supposed to be outside the country in September when the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) hosts the Harare International Carnival, something which is distressing ZTA chief executive officer Karikoga Kaseke. He is so determined to have Jah Prayzah perform at the function that he has offered to pay the musician whatever fee he demands to perform.
Speaking at a Harare International Carnival launch party on Saturday Kaseke said::
He (Jah Prayzah) is Zimbabwe’s finest and I will pay him whatever he is being offered out there for him to perform at the carnival. Whatever you want, I will give you, so what do you say?
However, the musician was non-committal saying:
We will see what we can do about it
