Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) chairperson Justice Rita Makarau has said that the commission requires US$274 million to hold the 2018 harmonised elections. Makarau indicated that the budget has already been submitted to the treasury for funding. This was revealed when Zec appeared before the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development.
