Agribank and FBC will be issuing AgroBills to raise $20 million dollars for crop production in the 2017/18 season.
In a joint statement the two banks said they were:
grateful for the support they have always received from investors, including but not limited to pension and provident funds, insurance companies, life mutual, commercial banks and other institutions, as well as the investing public.
The AgriBills have a government guarantee and they will be issued for a period of 270 to 360 days. They have prescribed asset status, liquid asset status and tax exemption.
