Minister of State for Manicaland Province Mandi Chimene has claimed that Zanu-PF will make a clean sweep and win all 26 seats in Manicaland. Chimene said:
There is no doubt we will maintain our grip on the current 23 that we have and reclaim the three that were lost to the opposition in the last election. Our people know that they cannot make the same mistake again and allow the seats to remain in the custody of pretenders.
We just need to create the right temperature for the elections and the people will not disappoint us
…I will be going around the entire province district-by-district and ward-by-ward talking to the people.
