Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa made his first public appearance when he visited the Muzenda family home in Chisipite where he paid his condolences following the death of Simon Muzenda’s widow Maud Muzenda on Tuesday.
Mnangagwa said he got support from Maud Muzenda during the liberation struggle and said he was unable to come earlier because he has been unwell. From the Muzenda homestead, Mnangagwa proceeded to Belvedere to console the Rutanhire family following the death of Peter Clever George Rutanhire on Saturday.
