Dynamos secured top spot on the Castle Premier Soccer League table after beating Harare City Football Club 2-1 in a match played at the National Sports Stadium.
Peace Makaha scored the opener in the first half before the tally was doubled in the second half when Raymond Uchena scored an own goal. Martin Vengesai pulled back one but it was too late as his goal was just a consolation in added time. The win sent Dynamos three points clear on top with 56 points.
Highlanders did a favour for Dembare when they beat title chasers Chicken Inn 4-0 with goals coming from Godfrey Makaruse, Ralph Matema and a brace from Simon Munawa. The defeat means Chicken Inn remains fourth five points behind log leaders Dynamos.
