We are willing to engage the British says President Mugabe

President Robert Mugabe has revealed that he is willing to engage former colonial masters Britain saying that the government had realised that the United Kingdom monarchy was not part of the fight started by the Tony Blair administration. President Mugabe said this after his meeting with Sir Nicholas Soames, a British Conservative party member of parliament.  Sir Nicholas,  is the son of Britain’s last colonial governor in Rhodesia, Lord Soames. In an interview with State media, Mugabe said:

We can talk to Britain. All along we thought the British did not want dialogue. This latest visit shows they do and we have always been willing to engage. I was very happy with the meeting and in fact Sir Nicholas promised to come back on a follow-up meeting.
