Those pushing for Mnangagwa's removal are small boys says Paul Mangwana

Former cabinet minister and Zanu PF deputy secretary for Legal Affairs, Paul Mangwana has dismissed those calling for the removal of underfire Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa as small boys. Mangwana said that the Zanu-PF extraordinary congress scheduled for December would only deal with those issues which were raised by the provinces. He also said that the call for a woman vice president was just a wish which would be deliberated on. Said Mangwana:

Those who are pushing for the removal of Mnangagwa are small boys. We are a very mature party, the party has been there since 1963. As a party we deal with real matters not individuals.

Those calling for the removal of the vice president, where do they get power from?

Only the president can do that. At the special congress only issued that have been raised by provinces will be raised.

…Those who are calling for a woman vice president that is their wish that now needs to be adopted as a resolution by the central committee.

The central committee will meet and only resolutions adopted there will be taken to congress.
