Speaking during his visit to Mozambique on Thursday, President Emmerson Mnangagwa claims that his former boss Robert Mugabe appeared unaware that he had fired him Zanu-PF and government just two weeks after his dismissal.
Mnangagwa said Mugabe called him when he was in South Africa in exile and begged him to come back. He said that Mugabe seemed surprised that Mnangagwa was in South Africa. Watch the video below for Mnangagwa’s speech:
