Dynamos boss Kenny Mubaiwa has declared that he will not step down as the club’s president despite an appalling start to the season by the club. A defiant Mubaiwa said that he is not bothered by what the fans think as they were not the ones who had appointed him. This follows demands by some fans for Mubaiwa to step down.
Speaking to NewsDay, Mubaiwa said,
What they (supporters) are saying does not make sense at all. They call for my resignation but are they the ones who appointed me in the first place. I can only be removed from my position by the appointing authority, not the supporters. I will not lose sleep over what they are calling for.
Dynamos is currently second from bottom on the log table after suffering two losses and a defeat in its opening three games.
