Zimbabwe’s Mighty Warriors have failed to qualify for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) after this afternoon’s 2-1 loss at home to Zambia’s Shepolopolo.
The Mighty Warriors needed a draw of any kind to progress to the finals after winning 1-0 in the first leg. Zimbabwe scored first through Erina Jeke but Zambia scored twice through Helen Chanda and Barbara Banda.
