I Need More Time, It's Not Easy To Change An Entrenched System: Mnangagwa

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said that he needs more time if he is to turnaround things because is hampered by an entrenched system which needs to be remade. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Mnangagwa said,

It’s not an event, it’s a process to change from one entrenched system to a new administration. You need to carry the majority of the nation with you. It’s not possible to just go with a couple of friends and say this is where we are.

The question of free elections, now, I have said in the past we did not allow. Let “bygones be bygones.” …The army is in the barracks. If any other party wins, we will support them as they will support me if I win.
