Kembo Mohadi Orders Mliswa To Retract Tweet That He Is Corrupt And Mnangagwa Must Fire Him

Vice President Kembo Mohadi has ordered Norton legislator Temba Mliswa to retract allegations he posted on his Twitter account alleging that he (Mohadi) is corrupt and President Mnangagwa must fire him. Mohadi has given Mliswa 24 hours.

Mliswa made the remarks in a tweet reacting to press statement by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda, in which President Mnangagwa accepted the resignation of commissioners to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission. Said Mliswa:

This is a move in the right direction @edmnangagwa Goodbye Goodson Nguni. It’s now time for you to move to the corrupt Ministers in Cabinet beginning with VP Mohadi. Judging from the evidence I’ll produce it appears the level of corruption in the South is unprecedented.

Mohadi’s lawyer, Mr Norman Mugiya of Mugiya and Macharaga Law Chambers, said failure by Mliswa to retract the information will result in legal action.
