Zesa spokesperson Fullard Gwasira yesterday said they were experiencing technical challenges on their prepaid system countrywide.
Gwasira said they were working on fixing the issue. He also said they were investigating if it had only affected Econet’s EcoCash facility or their side of the system. Said Gwasira:
It’s countrywide. We are working to fix the challenge, which has affected Econet’s EcoCash (mobile money transfer facility) and we are investigating whether it is our side of the system or EcoCash.
