The Tanzanian government has donated a consignment of drugs and medical sundries to assist the victims of Cyclone Idai in Zimbabwe.
Tanzania sent an initial consignment of medical supplies which were received at Manyame Airforce Base by Tanzanian Embassy officials, Zimbabwe’s civil protection and defence forces teams. The supplies will be transported to Cyclone Idai victims in Chimanimani and Chipinge.
The Ministyr of Information, Broadcasting and Publicity said another cargo plane full of relief supplies procured by President Mnangagwa in Abu Dhabi is landing at 1600 hours tomorrow.
