Former Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa has said that the people in government should stop moaning sanctions and do nothing. He further said the nation should learn to work within limitations of sanctions to overcome them. He further went on to say that the country needed political and general purpose unity from all players in the political arena.
Speaking in an interview Chinamasa said
To say that sanctions are not there is a lie, sanctions are there, they are hurting but it doesnt mean that because sanctions are there we should sit and fold our hands.
The sanctions mantra is one of the parallels between the old and the new dispensation.
