In a video posted by Hopewell Chin’ono on Twitter, Sponsors like Econet, South Africa Airways, African Medallion Gold have come up to sponsor the Mbare Netball team that is set to go to the UK for the Netball World Cup. The ladies have been sponsored to go to Uganda for a friendly match. Mrs Matarakinya wife to the Nyaradzo boss visited the girls in camp and gave them some encouraging words.
This came when there was an appeal to sponsor the girls who had qualified for the World Cup but were having a hard time attracting sponsors.
