Recent reports indicate that some major retail outlets are now selling goods in US dollars because of the instability of the RTGS dollars. One such retailer is TV and Sales. Writing on social media, renowned award-winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono said:
Shops have gotten tired of the RBZ tomfoolery and are starting to price their goods strictly in US Dollars. Whilst the parallel market is not trading or has lowered the rate, TV and Sales is using a rate of 6.5 to the USD. This makes doing business or buying absolutely difficult!
