Zanu PF national spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo has dismissed allegations that it was interfering with MDC preparations for the forthcoming congress.
A ZBC reports that Moyo remarked that the claims by MDC Alliance are untrue. It further says that he views the allegations as meant to create instability in the country.
According to the article, Moyo said:
I must restate that the court ruling by Justice Edith Mushore ordering the MDC party to hold an extraordinary congress within a month to elect a substantive leader using the 2014 MDC structures is purely a matter between the MDC and the courts.
