Staff at Midlands State University (MSU) have declared incapacitation following a general assembly meeting held in the campus Great Hall on 21 August 2019.
In a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, the MSULA/MSUNTSA Executive wrote:
SUBJECT: INCAPACITATION OF ALL MSU MEMBERS OF STAFF
We write to advise that after a joint general assembly meeting by MSULA and MSUNTSA on the 21st of August 2019 in the Great Hall, it was resolved that;
1. All members are now incapacitated to come to work all the days of the month,
2. Salaries have fallen 10 times and so workers are only able to come to work for the first three days of the month.
