The Nelson Chamisa-led MDC said that its Midlands Youth Assembly Chair was attacked by ZANU PF youths in Kwekwe.
The attack reportedly occurred on Tuesday (today) when the visibly drunk ZANU PF youths assaulted Sekai Marashe (Muchina) and took her to their offices where she was further assaulted. The party said in a statement:
Sekai Marashe (Muchina) was today attacked by Zanupf youths in Kwekwe. The visibly drunk thugs assaulted the MDC Provincial youth leader before taking her to their Zanu PF offices where they further assaulted her.
She sustained serious injuries.
Sekai has since made a police report at Kwekwe Central Police station.
