Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited has issued a statement explaining why the colour of its flagship fruit juice, Mazoe Orange Crush product differ in colour.
The statement was a response to a query on microblogging site Twitter, by one Rumbidzai Matinga who was concerned that the difference in colour may give rise to counterfeits.
In the statement, Schweppes said:
RESPONSE ON THE MAZOE ORANGE CRUSH COLOUR VARIATION FEEDBACK
We note concerns around a colour variation on Mazoe Orange Crush and would like to assure our consumers after investigations that the product is, in fact, genuine and simply a result of the usual difference in fruit juice batches used in production from season to season.
We pride ourselves on the use of natural unmodified juice to allow our consumers to enjoy the best of nature’s offering. This will sometimes lead to variation in the colour of the final product.
We would like our valued customers to know that the quality and taste of Mazoe Orange Crush remains unchanged.
