Harvest House Church Lose $200k To A Fraudster

A man has appeared in court for defrauding Harvest House International Church’s Bulawayo Branch. This came to light after Hussein Noor of Harare was paid $200 000 after he had promised he would deliver 300 000 bricks to be used to construct the church’s auditorium in Bulawayo’s Woodlands suburb.

It is the state’s case that in Agust Noor phoned the church ‘s Bishop Colin Nyathi and told them he had a company called Stone Craft Corporation a subsidiary of Willdale Bricks. When the Bishop was making enquiries about his business Noor took him to Willdale and they toured the plant under false pretences that it was part of his plant. After paying for the brick Noor never delivered the bricks and the Bishop only discovered he was swindled after he discovered that Noor’s company doesn’t exist.
