Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) journalist Musorowegomo Mukosi said that Zambians and the entire SADC region are eagerly looking forward to the Anti-Sanctions activities set for Friday, 25 October 2019.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with ZBC News, Mukosi argued that he has little to lose from being on the sanctions list, but that it is the economy that is negatively impacted. He said:
I was recently in Zambia and I could not believe the enthusiasm that these people had towards the removal of sanctions on Zimbabwe yet they are not even affected directly, they are actually looking forward to the big day and this is something that Zimbabweans are failing to do for their own country.
Mukosi was placed on the sanctions list in 2008 alongside other ZBC journalists, Reuben Barwe and the late Judith Makwanya.
The sanctions are targeted on individuals and companies considered to be perpetuating the suffering of the generality of Zimbabweans by violating their right and those abetting the perpetrators.
