The Health Services Board (HSB) has advised that 77 doctors were dismissed after they were found guilty of absenting themselves from duty without leave or reasonable cause. The board also advised that disciplinary hearings were still ongoing for medical doctors who have been on strike since the 3rd of September over unsustainable salaries. See the full statement below.
