The United States of America Embassy in Harare has claimed that in 2019 alone, the Western state contributed $334.4 million to the people of Zimbabwe. It also claimed that since 1980 when Zimbabwe got independence, the USA has given $3.2 billion to Zimbabwe. See below.
The figures indicated by the USA are not the same as those which the Finance Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube revealed whilst making a presentation of the 2020 Budget Statement.
