Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans partner, lawyer and entrepreneur Brian Mataruka has scooped the prestigious Africa Leadership University Chairman’s Scholarship for 2020, Daily News reports.
According to the publication, Mataruka won the award together with another Zimbabwean Entrepreneur Tafadzwa Sasa. Writing about the scholarship, the publication said:
The scholarship was awarded to the two Zimbabweans after a vigorous assessment process in recognition of their efforts in creating employment and excellence in business leadership.
The Chairman’s Scholarship celebrates the best of African business talent, particularly within the professional and community leadership. The Africa Leadership University School of Business is run from Kigali, Rwanda and is a flagship business school whose objective is to build future African business leaders.
Its MBA programme is an Africa-focused world-class executive development programme offered in collaboration with a number of internationally recognised partners.
