The President is in Mutare where he officially broke ground for the Sakubva Urban Renewal Project. The project according to the Ministry of information will employ 20 000 locals and provide 25000 downstream services. The Ministry tweeted.:
#SakubvaUrbanRenewalProject The first phase will see construction of modern housing units, Sakubva Flea Market & Green market. In the second phase, a world class stadium will be constructed.Over 20 000 local people will be employed while about 25 000 provide downstream services
The Mutare project has also been accorded National Project Status according to the same source, The Ministry Of Information:
The Sakubva Urban Renewal project has been accorded National Project status to allow the facilitation, quick implementation and completion of the project @edmnangagwa
